We are Habitat for Neighborhood Business.

Habitat for Neighborhood Business (HNB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focusing particularly on helping minority entrepreneurs realize their dream to own and operate a business in economically challenged neighborhoods.

HNB strives to restore urban neighborhoods with new and additional business activity, job growth, and business role models.

OUR MISSION

HNB partners with Saint Louis University and volunteer business people to help restore economic vitality to under-served neighborhoods through mentoring, networking and education for existing and aspiring minority entrepreneurs.

In addition, HNB collaborates with developers, government and others sharing our interests in strengthening neighborhood commerce.

OUR VISION

To be responsible for continuous improvement of a replicable program by sharing best practices among HNB Affiliates and other organizations with similar missions to help restore economic vitality to undeserved neighborhoods throughout the United States.
